SOMOS is a contemporary theatre-circus show where the performers, through their bodies, reveal something seemingly simple: what they are, what we are… But is it easy to show what we are? All that we are? It’s a simple staging, but with a carefully crafted and symbol-laden aesthetic. The work itself is a search for the image within the word, where movement, risk, and beauty hold a primordial place. We’ll see a high level of acrobatics and images that will make us reflect on human darkness, while also allowing us to enjoy our light, the music, and the humour.

SOMOS is the company’s first work, a project headed and directed by Guimelh, a contemporary circus artist with over ten years of experience in the sector. This young company comprises artists from various towns and nationalities (Spain, Italy, France, and Argentina), but all share a common passion for acrobatic partnering, which has led them, in a very short time, to reach the top level within the discipline.
