The Show
La Piedra de Madera (The Wooden Stone) is a shared space where scenes unfold and transform thanks to the collaboration of everyone involved. A different perspective for each person based on the freedom of choice, or the responsibility of choice, depending on how you look at it. As an audience, we seek to disappear among others to watch without being seen. Like the stones on a cliff that collide until they blend in, even those that are not stone.
Companyia de Circ “eia” (“yes” in Sardinian, in French “élans imprevus accordés”, in Spanish “impulsos imprevistos acordados”) was born in 2009 from the merger of several artists. With 14 years of collective experience, five active creations and more than 700 performances in 25 countries, “eia” has positioned itself as a leading company in contemporary Catalan, Spanish and European circus. At the heart of their creations is a human circus, capable of evoking the complexity of human relationships.
